Elizabeth Ann Emmons

August 16, 1946 — November 30, 2019

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Emmons, 73, of Lake, MS passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 03, 2019 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and again on Wednesday, December 04, 2019 from 10:00AM until 10:50AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 04, 2019 at 11:00AM at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Lake, MS with Bro. Brian Parkman, Bro. Robert Roncali, and Bro. Keith Gibbs officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Pine Ridge Missionary Baptist Cemetery.
Ann was born on August 16, 1946 to Earl and Frances Pipkins in Pascagoula, MS where she lived until she moved to Lake, MS in 1979. She was a welder by trade at Ingalls Shipbuilding, American Machinists, and Gibbs & Company. Later in her life she enjoyed serving and caring for the patients of Laird Home Health in Union, MS. Many people would describe Ann as a true “Proverbs 31 Woman.” She was a loving and dedicated wife to her husband Billy for fifty-five years; always making sure that his every need was taken care of. She was also a nurturing and selfless mother to her three children. Although she loved her children dearly, a new love came into her life when she became a grandmother and great-grandmother to her four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Ann always considered them precious gifts from God and thoroughly enjoyed the sunshine that they brought into her life. Some of her favorite past-times included gardening, reading devotionals, writing notes to preserve fond memories, and her favorite of all was fishing. She saw and enjoyed the beauty in all of Gods creations. Most importantly, in every season of her life, she enjoyed using every opportunity that she had to share Christ with everyone around her. She will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Mack Emmons; her parents, Earl and Frances Pipkins; sisters, Mary Alice “Runt” Stringfellow, and Earline Bryant (Bobby). She is survived by her husband, Bro. Billy Emmons of Lake, MS; daughters, Sissy Emmons of Lake, MS and Lisa Seale (Gary) also of Lake, MS; brother, Charles Earl Pipkins (Tink) of Lucedale, MS; grandchildren, Thomas Everett (Kayla) of Hickory, MS; Will Emmons of Brandon, MS; Hannah Crimm (Alex) of Forest, MS and Anna Grace Seale of Lake, MS; great-grandchildren, Skylar Elizabeth Everett and Grayden “Gray” Alexander Crimm; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Will Emmons, Thomas Everett, Alex Crimm, Jerry Renfroe, Ricky Stringfellow, and Danny Thompson. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Sheriff Jackie Knight, Mrs. Pinter, and her friends from Laird Home Health.
The family of Mrs. Emmons would like to extend a special thank you to UMMC nurses Jacob Smith and Maxwell Harmon for their compassion and care during her stay; and friends, family and church families for the calls, messages, prayers and love.
