Mrs. Betty Lou Stevens age 80, passed away on Saturday August 1, 2020 at her residence in Lake, MS. A visitation will be held on Tuesday August 4th, 2020 at Dennis Cemetery in Lake, MS from 1:30 PM until 2:00 PM with a graveside service to follow. Pastor Nick Ulmer will officiate.
Mrs. Stevens had lived in Lake, MS for most of her life. She was a member of Unity Assembly of God Church in Lake, MS. Mrs. Stevens enjoyed reading, working word search puzzles and crafts.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Marion Alvin (Runt) Stevens; her parents, Earnest Earlie and Icie Corean Ferguson; sister, Bonnie Neese Dickerson; four brothers, Tommy, L.D., Wendell and Ray Ferguson.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Kirkpatrick of Lake, MS; two sisters, Bernice Allen of Meridian, MS, Bobbie Ragan of Pelahatchie; MS, one brother, Doyle Ferguson of Walnut Grove, MS and her special canine companion, Izzy.
Pallbearers are, Rickie Berger, Charles Ferguson, T.J. Ford, Eddie Ferguson, Randy Ferguson and Christopher Jones.
Honorary Pallbearers are her Hospice Nurses, Tanya Boleware and Rani Bunkley; caregivers, Robin Holmes, Lashondra Johnston, Melody Shephard, Beverly Martin, Brandi Neese, Brianna Jones, Kelsey Pinter and Shamekia Evans.
