Mrs. Dixie Darlene Craig age 65, passed away December 23rd 2020 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. A visitation will be held Sunday January 3, 2021 at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS from 12:00 PM until 1:50 PM with a funeral service to follow. Services will be held outside under the portico. A graveside service will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery in Forkville, MS on Sunday January 3, 2021 following the funeral service. Brother Matt Armstrong and Brother Charlie Jones will officiate.
Mrs. Craig was born in Taylorsville, MS, Her family lived in Smith County for a short time and in Leesburg,MS for a while, landing in Scott County where she lived most of her life. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Forkville, MS. She was well known as the “pea lady” and worked the farm for over thirty years. When Forkville had a post office she worked there with Mrs. Dreta Latham. She also worked at Walmart, retiring after twenty two years. Mrs. Craig enjoyed fishing and traveling on mission trips. She was a church hostess and involved with WMU. She loved her grandboys and enjoyed being involved in their baseball games. She loved her family and her church family and will be greatly missed by all her knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James Leroy Runnels and Doris Faye Martin; brother, Ricky Runnels; sister, Sandra Wolf and Brother-in-Law, Rocky Wolf.
She is survived by her husband of forty seven years, Kenneth George Craig; her children, Michelle McCrory (Tony) and Ashli Ragan (Chad); five grandchildren, Nick and Coby McCrory and Tyler, Hunter and Skylar Ragan

Pallbearers are Odie Craig, Buck Wolf, Michael Phillips, Jeff Runnels, Hunter Ragan, Cody Gilbert and Jeremy Runnels. Honorary pallbearers are Tony McCrory and Chad Ragan.
