Gerald Eugene Youngblood, 71, passed away at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. There will be no services at this time.

Gerald was born in Copiah County, MS on September 7, 1949 to Harold Youngblood and Edith Slay. He was a lifelong resident of Crystal Springs, MS. He was Presbyterian by faith and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Crystal Springs. Mr. Youngblood served as the Fire Chief of Crystal Springs for many years and retired as a dispatcher with the Crystal Springs Police Department.
Gerald was preceded in death by his wife Martha Youngblood, his parents Harold and Edith Youngblood and 2 brothers Don and Lindy Youngblood. He is survived by his 3 sons, Jeff Youngblood (Kim), Brandon, MS, Steven Bridwell, Brandon, MS, Cody Bridwell, Wesson, MS and one brother Phil Youngblood, Tupelo, MS; 8 great grandchildren a number of great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
