Mitchell Lynn Van Etten

Mitchell Van Etten, 58, passed away on July 21, 2021, in Tuscaloosa, AL. Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM. at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Lawrence, MS. Bro Levi Jones will be officiating under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.

Mitchell, was born June 6, 1963, to Martha Ann Gomillion and Joseph Lee Van Etten that lived in the Laurel, MS. He has lived in Fosters, AL for the past 21 years after moving there from Northport, AL. He was Church Of God By faith and a member of the Worldwide Church of God in Decatur, MS. He was an employee of Advanced Business Machines of Tuscaloosa, Al for 9 years before becoming disabled.

Mitchell was preceded in death by his father Joseph Lee Van Etten and a nephew Guy Durand Loper. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Audra Van Etten of Fosters, AL; his mother, Martha Ann Van Etten of Laurel, MS; two sons, Gabriel Van Etten (Ashlee) and Micah Van Etten of Fosters, Al; three sisters, Angela Loper (Guy) of Decatur, MS, Karen Goggans (Richard) Laurel, MS, Sharen Prine (Jamie) of Laurel, MS; one grandchild Isaak Van Etten; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Guy Loper, Jamie Prine, Richard Goggans, Anthony Driver, Patrick Prine, Austin Driver, Levi Driver, Eli Driver.
