Jimmy Harvey

December 3, 1935 — October 2, 2021

Jimmy Calhoun Harvey, 85, passed away on October 2, 2021, at his residence in Lake, MS. He was the son of the late Floyd Eugene Harvey and the late Dorothy Jewel Gatewood. Visitation will be Thursday October 7, 2021, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM with services to follow at 11:00 AM. All visitation and services will be at Pine Ridge Baptist Cemetery, Lawrence, MS with Rev. Ken McLemore officiating under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
Jimmy was a lifelong resident of Lake, MS. He loved dirt track, racing, fishing and playing dominoes. He is an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and when he retired from La-z-boy he was the plant supervisor.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Dorothy Harvey; three brothers, Gene Harvey, Billy Harvey and Bobby Harvey. He is survived by his lovely wife, Fredia Harvey of Newton, MS; two children, Jimbo Harvey of Lake, MS, Kim Davis of Gulf Shores, AL and their mother, Betty Virginia Harvey of Lake, MS; two sisters, Barbara Jo Warren of Morton, MS, Betty Nell Windham of Lawton, OK; two grandchildren, Chelsea Lynn Garrett and Kaylyn Lee Harvey; a number of Nieces, Nephews and other relatives.
