Cecil Jerry Harmon

Cecil Jerry Harmon, 78, passed away on October 14, 2021, at Anderson Regional Center, Meridian, MS. He was born in Smith County to Johnny Harmon and Lucy Bailey Harmon. Visitation will be on Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM at Wolf Funeral Services, Lake, MS with a prayer service beginning at 1:30 PM. Burial will be at Carr Methodist Church Cemetery under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
Jerry was a lifelong resident of Smith County. He was Baptist by faith and a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church. He enjoyed farming, raising cows, and chickens and loved to bush hog. Most of all he enjoyed his time with his family.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Lucy Harmon; nephew, Ferrell Harmon. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Lynda Leach Harmon of Lake, MS; son, Heath Swinson of Lake, MS; two sisters, Eleanor Baucum of Decatur, Al and June Ward of Helena, AL; one brother, Leo Harmon of Lake, MS.
Pallbearers will be Lavelle Baucum, Tim Ward, Kody Tanner, Mike Leach, Danny Leach, and Mark Leach.
Gideon Bibles may also be given in his memory.
