Peter B Rowse

Peter B. Rowse, 78, passed away on January 11, 2022, at his home in Lake, MS. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 21, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS.
Mr. Rowse was born in Port Jefferson/Long Island, NY on December 29, 1943 to Julia Buckley and Herbert Eaton Rowse. He move to Carthage, MS in 1971. The pursuit of good raccoon hunting is what drew him to the south. Peter lived in Carthage, Clinton, Jackson and Raymond before moving to Lake in 2004. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, horseback riding and working the land. Peter was a hard working family man who followed his family tradition of selling and repairing bicycles. He owned a bike shop in Clinton and then turned his career to general sales. His last employer was Fowler Buick where he received numerous awards for sales.
Mr. Rowse is preceded in death by his parents, Julia and Herbert Rowse and his brother, Herb Rowse. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Joyann Rowse; children, Peter Rowse, Jr (Martha) of Alberdeen, NJ, Tracy Rowse Gore (Jeff) of Greenville, MS and Julie Rowse Posey (Keven) of Lindale, TX; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
