Grover "Buddy" Rigby

Grover “Buddy” Rigby, 72, passed away on February 24, 2022, at Merit Health Rankin, Brandon, MS. He was born on October 7, 1949, to Ella Andrews and Grover Presley Rigby. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM with a celebration of life service at 10:00 AM to be held at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel Lake, Lake, MS. Bro. Chris Harrison will be officiating the service under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services Lake.

Buddy lived in the Ringgold Community all of his life. He was Baptist by faith and a former member of Temple Baptist Church, Forest, MS and attended Ephesus Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and spend time with his grandchildren. He was a former member of the North Central Volunteer Fire Department.

Buddy is preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Ella Rigby. He is survived by his son, Tim Rigby of Lake, MS; one sister, Marie Hemmingway (Wayne) of Decatur, MS; two grandchildren, Addison Rigby and Carter Rigby.
