Buddy Allen

Mr. Robert Austin “Buddy” Allen age 71, passed away Wednesday November 6, 2019 at Merit Health in Brandon, MS. A visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services on Thursday November 7, 2019 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM and again on Friday November 8, 2019 from 12:00 PM until 12:50PM. A funeral service will be held at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel at 1:00PM on Friday November 8, 2019 with burial to follow at Luther Chapel Church in Homewood, MS. Tam Maddox of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church will officiate.

Mr. Allen was a lifelong Scott County resident. He was Baptist by faith and a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He enjoyed selling produce, especially watermelons and sweet potatoes. He loved to talk to people and loved spending time with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; Taylor Bryant Allen and Rosa Mae Moreland. He is survived by his children; Will ( Miranda) Allen of Brandon, MS, Robbie Allen of Edinburg, MS, Teresa(Timmy) Batte of Forest, MS, Peggy(Jeffrey) Gentry of Homewood, MS, Phillip ( Kimberly) Allen of Forest, MS, Kathy (Wayne) Batte of Forest; two sisters; Sarah ( Gene) Roncali of Newton, MS ,Ouida (Billy) Comans of Sebastapol, MS; ten grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James Gentry, Brandin Batte, Jack Batte, Cody Batte, Dylan Trest,Devon Trest Christopher Allen and Joshua Aust. Nick Nations and Willie Millsaps are honorary pallbearers.
