Shirley Ann Ashley, 66, a resident of Pelahatchie, MS passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Central Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services on Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 2:30 pm until 7:00 pm and on Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 1:00 pm until 2:45 pm. Funeral services will be Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the chapel with burial following in the Farm Rest Cemetery in Lena, MS. Officiating will be Pastor D. J. Grantham. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Shirley had lived in Pelahatchie, MS for the past 26 years, moving from Monroe, LA and she was a member of the Prayer, Praise & Worship Church in Pelahatchie, MS. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by one son, Chad Ashley on July 16, 2005. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Ashley of Pelahatchie, MS; two daughters, Jan Myers of Byram, MS and Tracey Hester of Colorado; one sister, Billie Jo Campbell of Shreveport, LA; one brother, Kirby Ray Evans of Kisatchee, LA; six grandchildren, Gyna Hester, Heather Myers, Devon Myers, Kacey Myers, Derian Hester, and Trinity Hoevel.
Pallbearers will be Devon Myers, Kacey Myers, Ethan Martin, James Grantham, Tim Poarch, and Kenneth Hester.
