Elvie Barrett

Mr. Elvie Barrett age 85 a resident of Forest, MS passed away on Thursday November 13, 2014 at his residence. Visitation will be held on Saturday November 15, 2014 from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday November 15, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services. Burial will follow in the Antioch-Steele Cemetery in Forest, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Duncan and Rev. Ed Knowles. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS will be in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Barrett was a resident of Scott County for the past 55 years, formerly living in Jones County and the Sebastopol area. He was of the Assembly of God faith. He loved the outdoors, especially coon hunting and fishing.
Mr. Barrett was preceded in death by his first wife, Mable Brooks Barrett in 1987; daughter, Loretta Barrett; son, Robert Barrett; brother, Granville Barrett. He is survived by his wife, Ima Barrett of Chunky, MS.; four daughters, Genett Carpenter of Terry, MS., Virginia Pace of Moselle, MS., Vicky Jones of Brandon, MS., Patricia Woods of Forest, MS.; three sons, Wesley Barrett of Philadelphia, MS., Scotty Barrett of Angier, NC., Tyler Barrett of Forest, MS.; one sister, Edna Ezell of Union, MS.; fourteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
