Mr. Burshel Lenus Boatrite, age 74, passed away on Thursday January 04, 2018 in Birmingham, AL. Visitation will be held on Monday January 08, 2018 from 12:30PM until 1:50PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Monday January 08, 2018 at 2:00PM at the Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Morton, MS with Bro. Paul Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the New Liberty Baptist Cemetery in Morton, MS; there will be no graveside services. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Boatrite had lived in Cullman, AL for the past nine years and was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid reader and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Boatrite in 2006; two grandchildren, Mercedes and Candie; and one great-grandchild, Luke. He is survived by his children, Reba Sumrall (Johnny) of Lena, MS, Donna Quick (Bobby) of Morton, MS, Burshel Eugene Boatrite of Crane Hill, AL, Cicel Lee Boatrite (Nancy) of Arley, AL, and Danny Ray Boatrite (Kathy) of Cullman, AL; one sister, Irene Murray (Joe) of Florence, AL; one brother, Earl Boatrite (Delia) of Florence, AL; and he was blessed with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were his grandsons.
