Bonnie Vance Whittington

Bonnie Vance Whittington, age 90, passed away at her residence in Forest, MS.  Her visitation will be held on Sunday, May 26, 2024, from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Her services will take place at 2:00 PM at in our Funeral Home Chapel.  Chaplain Gary Morris will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.

Bonnie was born to Percy Weaver and Alma Gould on September 24, 1933, in Scott County, MS.  She lived in Forest, MS for most of her life.  Bonnie was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Lake, MS and she loved flower gardening.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her second husband, Linus Whittington, her first husband, SCT Major Ronald Terry Vance and her son, Timothy Vance.

Bonnie is survived by her son, Richard Paul Vance (Barbara) of Redwood, MS; her sister, Edie Myers of Baton Rouge, LA; her five grandchildren, Mandy Stroud (David), Melissa Teer (Michael), Mallory Barnes (Alan), Carmen Ansbro and Lindsey Vance and her ten great-grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Brandon Weaver, Brady Harrison, Keith Myers, Ricky Gibbs, Robbie Vickers and Grant Stroud.

 The honorary pallbearer will be Chris Weaver.
