Betty Ruth Stewart Branning, 54, a resident of Yazoo City, MS passed away Monday, April 29, 3013 at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 01, 2013 at Leesburg Church of Christ from 4:30 pm until service time Thursday, May 02, 2013 at 10:00 am. Burial will be in Leesburg Church of Christ Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Jack Stewart and Rev. Larry Hunt. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton will be in charge of arrangements
Betty had lived in Yazoo City, MS for the past twenty five years, moving from Scott County, MS and she was a member of Leesburg Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Eva Stewart; two children, Jerry Ray Stewart and Christopher Allen Branning; one brother, Richard Stewart; one sister, Debbie Clark.
She is survived by her husband of twenty five years, Jeff Branning of Yazoo City, MS; one daughter, Jennifer Lynn Branning of Yazoo City, MS; one son, Robert Darrel Branning of Yazoo City, MS; one sister, Jean Bates of Lena, MS; and one grandchild, Anthony Matteo Glorioso.
Pallbearers will be Skipper Walker, Jed Lancaster, Ray Shoemaker, Mitchell Craig, John Cross and Nick Murphy. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Waldrop and Matthew Walker.
