Brian Austin Usry

Brian Austin Usry, born on February 7, 1976, in Lauderdale County, Mississippi, passed away on March 16, 2025, in Forest, Mississippi. He was a beloved member of his community who touched many lives throughout his years.

Brian’s life journey took him through various places, spending much of his life in Newton County, Mississippi, as well as time in Knoxville, Tennessee, and Scott County, Mississippi. A proud graduate of Newton High School in 1994, Brian excelled in baseball and carried his passion for sports and the outdoors into his adult life. An avid outdoorsman, he found great joy in fishing and spending time in nature.

Brian's professional legacy includes his work as a Master Plumber, where he proudly owned Tiptop Plumbing. His expertise in his trade was well recognized, and he dedicated himself to serving the needs of his community through his craftsmanship.

He was a devoted member of First Baptist Church Concord in Farragut, Tennessee, where he often drew strength and guidance from his faith.

Brian is survived by his fiancée, Brandi Jones of Forest, Mississippi, and his parents, Austin and Bernice Usry of Decatur, Mississippi. He leaves behind seven children: Savanna Usry, Katelyn Usry, Hannah Grace Usry, Jonathan Horton, Brandon Usry, Dylan Usry, and Zack Usry, all residing in Knoxville, Tennessee. He is also survived by his brothers, Brad Usry (Kimberly) of Pearl, Mississippi, and Matt Usry (Dustie) of Decatur, Mississippi. Along with immediate family, Brian cherished a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In honor and remembrance of Brian’s life, visitation services will be held on March 20, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on March 21, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM, at Wolf Funeral Services located at 136 Front Street, Lake, Mississippi. The funeral service will follow on March 21, 2025, at 12:00 PM, also at Wolf Funeral Services, and a graveside service will take place at Pine Ridge Baptist Church in Lawrence, Mississippi, at 1:00 PM.

Brian Austin Usry's passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, yet his spirit will live on through the memories he created and the lives he touched.
