Louise B. Brown
Louise B. Brown, 86, a resident of Raleigh, MS passed away Friday, September 13, 2013 at her residence. Visitation was held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 5:00 until 9:00 pm and on Monday, September 16, 2013 from 10:00 until 11:45 am. Funeral services were held at Wolf Funeral Services on Monday, September 16, 2013 at 12:00 noon with burial following at Providence Lutheran Cemetery. Officiating was Rev. B.B. Watson. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS were in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Brown had lived in Burns, MS since 1985 after moving from Mobile, AL and was a member of Burns United Methodist Church. She taught 8th grade science at Sidney C. Phillips Jr. High in Mobile, AL for 32 years and later taught at Raleigh Schools. She loved working in her yard and with her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl “Honey” Brown; parents, Harvey and Floyd Burns; and one sister, Marie Brown.
She is survived by her son, Earl Brown of Raleigh, MS; sister, Gail Gaddis and husband John of Jackson, AL; one granddaughter Adeline Johnson of North Carolina; a number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; special friends and caregivers, Diane Hutchinson and Winnie Bates.
Pallbearers were Chris Rhodes, Buck Rhodes, Wayne Rawls, Ty Neal, Stephen Hopkins, and Justin Roper.
