Michael Wayne Bufkin, 36, a resident of Collinsville, MS passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 from an accident on Hwy 35 S, Forest, MS. Visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Saturday, May 26, 2012 from 10:00 until 11:45 am. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 12:00 noon in the chapel. Burial will be in the Lorena Baptist Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Ronnie Wright and Rev. John Goodhue. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton will be in charge of arrangements.
Michael Wayne had lived in Collinsville, MS for the past sixteen years, moving from Lorena, MS and he was a member of Lorena Baptist Church, Lorena, MS. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lamar and Linda Bufkin. He is survived by one sister, Buffy Warren and husband Jack Warren, Sr. of Bailey, MS; two nieces, Heather and Catherine Warren; one nephew, J.J. Warren; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Bufkin, Chris Wicker, Lee Wicker, Shannon Wright, James Willis Wicker, Ryan Wicker, Stanley Fortenberry, Chris Bufkin, J.J. Warren, Cody Hutchinson, Joseph Stewart, and James Bufkin.
