Roy Chapman

Roy L. Chapman age 74 a resident of Pelahatchie, MS. passed away Tuesday November 4, 2014 at his residence. Visitation will be held on Thursday November 6, 2014 from 4:30 PM until 7:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Friday November 7, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services. Burial will follow in the Morton Memorial Gardens in Morton, MS. Officiating will be Bro. Don Cannon. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Chapman lived in Rankin and Scott County most of his life. Formerly living in Texas. He was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Morton, MS. where he formerly served as a deacon. He loved his family, work and enjoyed the outdoors.
Mr. Chapman is preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, one son, Charles Michael Ellison; one grandson, Jacob L. Miller. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Chapman of Pelahatchie, MS.; three sons, Milton R. Chapman and wife Vickie of Byram, MS., H. Harvey Chapman and wife Paula of Morton, MS., Jeff Ellison of Edwards, MS.; two daughters, Miki Miller and husband Frank of Morton, MS., Donna Howell of Pelahatchie, MS.; two sisters, Nina J. Wall and husband Alton of Texas, Bobbie Derrick and husband Robert of Texas; nine grandchildren, Wesley, Chris and Casey Reisinger, Joshua Miller, Brittany and Trent Chapman, Jennifer Dugger, Haley Howell, Tyler Howell; and ten great grandchildren.
