Claudie Cumberland

Claudie Cumberland, born on November 2, 1956, in Neshoba County, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025, in Forest, Mississippi. He was a beloved figure in his community, remembered for his generous spirit and warm smile.

Claudie spent most of his life in Forest and Scott County,  MS, where he cultivated a deep love for the outdoors. He was an avid outdoorsman, finding immense joy in hunting and fishing. His passion for nature was rivaled only by his affection for his dogs, who brought him great companionship and happiness throughout his life.

He leaves behind a loving family, including his wife, Saranda Cumberland, and his daughter, Mary Cumberland, both of whom reside in Mississippi. Claudie was also cherished by his six sisters and his two living brothers, alongside numerous nieces and nephews who will carry fond memories of him in their hearts.

Claudie's life was marked by the love of his family and friends, as well as the joy he found in fulfilling adventures. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A graveside service will be held in his honor on March 9, 2025, starting at 1:30 PM at Goodhope Baptist Cemetery, located at 12031 Hwy 485 in Philadelphia, Mississippi. The service will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together to celebrate Claudie's life and cherish the memories he created. In care of Wolf Funeral Services.
