Beuna Marie Cooper, 86, a resident of Morton, MS passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at her residence. Visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 5:30 until 8:00 pm and on Friday, November 16, 2012 from 9:00 until 10:15 am. Funeral services will be Friday, November 16, 2012 at Springfield Baptist Church at 11:00 am with burial following in the Springfield Baptist Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Keith Gordon. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton will be in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Cooper had lived in the Cooperville Community for the past 66 years and was a member of Springfield Baptist Church in Morton, MS.
She was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Cooper; one granddaughter, Lanora Freeman; two brothers, Govie and Hershel Bradshaw.
She is survived by her husband, Edward L. Cooper of Morton, MS; one daughter, Sherry Goss and husband James of Morton, MS; one son, Scotty Cooper and wife Donna of Morton, MS; three sisters, Mamie Burkes of Starkville, MS; Mary Ella Stuart of Morton, MS; Lois Harrell of Morton, MS; three brothers, Irvin Bradshaw, Jr. of Trenton, MS; Rayford Bradshaw of Sparta, IL; David Bradshaw of Brandon, MS; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be J.T. Cooper, Clayton Femyer, Caleb Freeman, Taylor Easterling, Aaron Cooper, and Scott Purcell. Honorary pallbearers will be Taylor Cooper, and Nathan Cooper.
Memorials may be made to Baptist Children’s Village, 114 Marketridge Dr., Ridgeland, MS 39157.
