Katherine Elizabeth Cooper, 87, a resident of Pelahatchie, MS passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Hospice Ministries, Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be Monday,
October 15, 2012 at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS from 5:30 until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at North Brandon Church of Christ, Hwy 471, Brandon, MS from 10:00 until 10:50. Funeral services will be at the church at 11:00 am with burial following at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS. Officiating will be Brother Ray Penna and Brother John Gardner. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Cooper had lived in Pelahatchie, MS for 68 years and was a member of North Brandon Church of Christ in Brandon, MS. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and loved playing dominoes with her friends at church and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack T. Cooper and one daughter, Linda Cooper Mabry.
Mrs. Cooper is survived by her daughters, Rita Cooper Jones and husband Larry of Brandon, MS; Melissa Cooper McDonald and husband Van or Pelahatchie, MS; her son, Harvey Cooper of Richton, MS; one brother, Bobby Bridges of Star, MS; grandchildren, Vince Bynum and wife Gera, Dawn Windham, Amanda Jones Rayburn and husband Otis, Amy Jones Swales and husband Josh, Haley McDonald, Timothy Cooper and wife Rebecca, Stephen Cooper and wife Melissa; great-grandchildren, Hudson Bynum, Erin Windham, Tyler Windham, McKay Rayburn, Christain Sherwood, Cooper Rayburn, Ashby Rayburn, Jackson Swales, Aiden Swales, Evalynne Cooper, Xavier Cooper, Aadynn Cooper, Izaiah Cooper, and Brantlee Cooper.
Pallbearers will be Jackie Mullins, Richard Dana, Alan Barham, Jay Henley, Garnett Harris, and Jonas Powell.
