Barbara Jo Crain

Barbara Franklin Crain, 65, of Morton, MS passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at River Oaks Hospital. Services will be held Saturday, February 27, 2021 with visitation at 2:30 PM and service following at 3:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services, Morton, MS under the portico, with Bro. Jon Vanlandingham officiating.

Barbara was born in Rankin County, MS on April 7, 1955 to the late W.E. Franklin and Thelma Thompson Franklin. She was a lifelong resident of The Leesburg Community. Barbara was of the Baptist faith and attended Leesburg Baptist Church. Barbara was a loving mother, daughter and sister. She enjoyed being with her family and friends and taking care of her father and mother. Her nieces and nephews held a special place in her heart. Everyone that knew her loved her and will have great memories of her smile and laugh.

In addition to her father, Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Dicky Crain. She is survived by her son William Christopher Crain (Brenda); mother, Thelma Franklin of Leesburg, MS; sister, Donna Hill (Gale) of Lena, MS.; brother Leon Franklin (Cindy) of Leesburg, MS; 2 Aunts, June Harrell of Leesburg, MS, and Merle Thompson of Leesburg, MS and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Pallbearers include David Irby, Drew Franklin, Ronny Thompson, Dusty Hill, Kenny Stephens, and Joel Still.
