Dale Hilton Johnson, Jr.

Dale Hilton Johnson, Jr., a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away at his residence in Pearl, Mississippi, on March 23, 2025, at the age of 53. Born on January 29, 1972, in Simpson County, Mississippi, Dale lived a life enriched by his love of family and his many interests.

Dale dedicated the last fifteen years of his life to the community of Pearl, having previously resided in Pelahatchie and Morton, Mississippi. He was known for his unwavering faith as a Baptist, which guided him through life's many challenges and successes.

Dale's passions were varied and brought him joy in numerous forms. He had an exceptional enthusiasm for wrestling, spending countless hours cheering for his favorite wrestlers. His love for fishing allowed him to find peace and tranquility in nature. Dale was also captivated by monster trucks, relishing the thrill of their power and excitement. He cherished the companionship of his cats, who provided him with comfort and warmth. Above all, Dale adored spending time with his family. He took great pride in his role as a husband to Amanda Johnson and as a father to his son, Dale Hilton Johnson, III, and daughter, Kimberly Faye Johnson.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Amanda Johnson, and his children, Dale Hilton Johnson, III and Kimberly Faye Johnson, all of Pearl, MS. He also leaves behind his four sisters: Melissa Dean of Florence, MS; Jackie Bliss of Idaho; Pauline Jolly of Idaho; and Deborah Wheeler of Morton, MS. His brother, Joseph Johnson, of Morton, MS, along with several nieces and nephews, mourn his passing.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Dale Hilton Johnson, Sr., and Joan Johnson, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.

A visitation to honor Dale's life will take place on March 28, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services located at 3054 Hwy 80 West, Morton, MS. His burial will follow at Ellisville Cemetery on Camellia Drive, Ellisville, MS, starting at 2:30 PM.

Dale Hilton Johnson, Jr. will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of love, passion, and family will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched.
