Mrs. Clodell Joyce Dennis age 93, a resident of the Lackey Convalascent Home passed away May 13, 2014 at Lackey Convalascent Home in Forest, MS. Visitation will be held on Friday May 16, 2014 from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday May 17, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Pine Ridge Baptist Church in Lawrence,MS. Burial will follow in the Pine Ridge Baptist Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Laird. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. will be in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Dennis had been a resident of Forest, MS for the past two years, formerly living in Vicksburg and Laurel,MS. She was a member of the Pine Ridge Baptist Church in Lawrence, MS.
Mrs. Dennis is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Dennis in 2013, one son, Arvis Dennis. She is survived by one son, Barry Dennis of Lousville, KY.; one brother, J.B. Jones of Lawrence, MS.; two sisters, Robbie Mercy of Albuquerque, NM.; Martha Swancey of Robertsdale, AL.; four grandchildren, Amanda Cross, Emily Christian, Jennifer Nesbitt, Eric Dennis, a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Benny Jones, Scotty Jones, Jeff Jones, Danny Swancey, Jimmy Jolly, Randy Dennis. Honorary pallbearers will be Sidney Dennis, Donald Dennis, Willie Dennis, Billy Jolly, Lonnie Hicks, Van Jones, Larry Stevens, Robert Stevens, Ronnie Dennis, Tommy Jolly.
