Serlena Mae Dennis

Serlena Mae Wallace Dennis, 80, of Morton, MS passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at her residence. Visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services on March 9, 2021 from 5:00 P.M. till 7 P.M. and March 10, 2021 from 12:30 P.M. till 1:50 P.M. Services will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel, Morton, MS, with Bro. Jason Price and Bro Robert Gatewood officiating.

Serlena was born in Smith County, Mississippi on March 18, 1940 to the late Lester Wallace and the late Emlis Wallace. She was a lifelong resident of Polkville, MS. She was a member of the Oak Grove Church of God in Polkville, MS.

In addition to her parents, Serelena is preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria Richardson; sister, Margaret Wallace; brother, Bradford Wallace. She is survived by her husband Rev. Otha Lee Dennis, Polkville, MS; daughter, Kathy Ann Dennis, Pulaski, MS; son, Clay Dennis, Lake, MS; 3 brothers, Buster Wallace, Taylorsville, MS; Devon Wallace Taylorsville, MS, and Tony Wallace, Montrose, MS; 5 sisters Katherine Blackwell, Homewood, MS, Bonnie Yates, Magee, MS, Wanda Goodson Homewood, MS, Regina Weeks, Pearl, MS and Debroah Lowery, Burns, MS; 7 grandchildren, a hose of great grandchildren and a host of Great-Great Grandchildren;

Pallbearers include Jonathan Richardson, Matthew Richardson, Wayne Morgan, Christopher Dennis, Jeff Dennis, and Leland McGhee. Honorary Pall Bearers, Chase Dennis and Joseph Richardson.
