Tommy Speir Dennis

Mr. Tommy Speir Dennis, 70, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Merit Health in Flowood. Visitation is set for Saturday, January 23, 2021 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 3:00PM at Ridge Baptist Cemetery in Forest, MS.
Mr. Dennis was born in Morton, MS on April 20, 1950 to Maggie Jane Sessums and Willie D. Dennis. He had lived in Scott County since 1992. Tommy was of the Baptist faith, he loved to cook, loved animals, enjoyed traveling and was an avid Nascar fan.
Mr. Dennis is preceded in death by his father, Willie D. Dennis and his Brother Timothy C. Dennis. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, “Mama Jean”; his mother, Maggie Jane Dennis; children, Tommy Dennis, Jr. (Melanie), Timothy Dennis (Crystal), Mark Sumrall (Patricia) and Mike Sumrall (Jennifer); sister, Vickie Vance; 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other family.
