Mrs. Deborah K. “Debbie” Derrick passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at her residence in Morton, MS. Visitation will be held Tuesday July 24, 2018 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Services will be held Wednesday July 25, 2018 at 10:00AM at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Morton, MS. Burial will follow at Morton Memorial Gardens in Morton, MS. Delivering the Eulogy will be Cindy Gaddis. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Derrick was a resident of Morton, MS for the past 38 years where she had moved from Forest, MS. She was a Christian in faith. Debbie was a 1975 graduate of Forest High School. Up until her illness she worked as a store manager for the chicken outlet in Morton, MS.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Derrick, Sr. of Morton, MS; parents, Edward Kirkpatrick of Louisiana and Virginia Kirkpatrick of Forest, MS; daughter, Danielle Derrick of Brandon, MS; son, Jerry Derrick, Jr. of Morton, MS; three sisters, Cindy Gaddis (Phillip) of Katy, TX, Pauline Doyle (Alan) of Newellton, LA, and Beth Morse of Pearl, MS; two brothers, Mitchell Kirkpatrick of Forest, MS, and Joe Kirkpatrick of Forest, MS; two grandchildren, Daniel Harrell and Christian Derrick; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Steve Goodman, Richard Prestage, Anthony Blissett, Keith Clark, Frank McCaughn and Allen David Morse.
