Mr. Jimmy Paul Dobbs, age 60, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022, at the Baptist Golden Triangle Medical Center in Columbus, MS. A memorial will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022, from 1:00 PM until 2:00. Services will take place at 2:00 PM all at Crossroads Church of God in Sebastopol, MS. Burial will follow at Sebastopol Cemetery in Sebastopol, MS. Bro. Curtis Vance will officiate.
Mr. Dobbs was born to Walter Dobbs and Floy Jean Madden on June 24, 1962, in Hinds County, MS. He had lived in Sebastopol, MS for the past Sixty Years. Mr. Dobbs was a child of God and he loved to attend Crossroads Church of God. He loved to hunt, play pool, fish and anything outdoors.
Mr. Dobbs was preceded in death by his parents, Floy Craft and Henry Craft; son, John McClendon; sister, Maxine Breland; brother, Johnny Paul Breland. He is survived by his wife, Penny Dobbs of Walnut Grove, MS; son, Shawn David Dobbs (Kelly Lawshe) and her children of Walnut Grove, MS; uncle, Jimmy Madden (Janet) of Clinton, MS.
