Bobby Dozier

Bobby Glenn Dozier, age 74, a resident of Polkville, MS passed away on Friday June 26, 2015 at his home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 30, 2015 from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday July 1, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Wolf Funeral Services. Burial will follow at 12:30 PM at Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery in Jackson, MS. His nephew Rev. Tommy Deason and Jacob King will officiate. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Bobby was born on November 3, 1940 in Flora, MS to Samuel William Dozier and Willie Pauline Myers Dozier.
Bobby lived in Elkhart, Indiana for many years. He was the founder and owner of Covermaster, where he manufactured covers for pickup trucks. His covers were sold in almost every state. In 2005 he retired and sold Covermaster. He returned home to Mississippi and purchased a farm in Polkville, MS where he raised cattle, living out his life time dream. He also owned several rental properties.
Bobby is survived by his companion, Laverne Prouty of Byram, MS; two sons, Terry Dozier and Robby Dozier both of Elkhart, IN; one daughter, Glenda Reed and husband Bill of Elkhart, IN; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren all of Elkhart, IN; one sister and brother-in-law, Mildred Dozier Deason and Edward (Bill) Deason of Brandon, MS; special nephew, Oscar Dozier, who was instrumental in the operation of his cattle farming, along with other nieces and nephews whom he loved very much.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Clifton Dozier; three sister, Bessie Mitchell, Christine Gray and Doris Posey.
