Sallie Evans

Mrs. Sallie H. Evans age 84, and a resident of Forest, MS., passed away Friday March 14, 2014 at Scott Regional Hospital in Morton, MS. Visitation will be held on Sunday March 16, 2014 from 6:30 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Monday March 17, 2014 from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Monday March 17, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Wolf Funeral Services with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery in Morton, MS. Officiating will be Bro. Barron Price and Bro. Jeremy Price. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Evans was a lifelong resident of Scott County. She was a member of the Polkville United Pentecostal Church in Polkville, MS. Her favorite pastimes were cooking, gardening and her flowers.
Mrs. Sallie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Juanita Hardy, two brothers, R.C. Hardy and John J. Hardy, Jr. She is survived by her husband of sixty seven years, Frank E. Evans of Forest, MS.; one son, Frank E. Evans, Jr. “Eddie” and wife Melanie of Bartlesville, OK.; one sister, Opal Anderson of Huntsville, TX.; two grandchildren, Christopher Edward Evans and Alexander Richard Evans.
Pallbearers are Christopher Edward Evans, Alexander Richard Evans, Phil Evans, Greg Evans, Daniel Evans, Jeff Hardy, and Mike Harrell.
