Travis Oree Evans

Travis Oree Evans, 87, passed away on November 14, 2021, at MS Care Center of Morton, MS. He was born on July 8, 1934, to Ruthie Pealie Carr and James Hardy Evans. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Wednesday November 17, 2021, from 10:00 AM until 10:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Services will be on November 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel with Bro. Tal Vardaman officiating. Burial will be at New Goodhope Baptist Cemetery in Pulaski, MS under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.

Travis loved driving his truck, loved to fish and feed and watch the wildlife.

Travis is preceded in death by his parents, Ruthie and James Evans; brothers James B. Evans and Hardy Arnell Evans; sister Audrey Faye Richard; grandson, Robert Oree Evans; step grandson, Dewayne Wicker. He is survived by siblings, Jimmy Evans, Wilma Rigdon, and Debbie Coghlan; children, Linda Wicker (Leonard), Travis Lynn Evans (Shirley), Jerry Evans, and James Phipps (Cathy); grandchildren, Teresa Sanders (Mike), Jim Smith, Jr., Mike Wicker (JaDonne), Darey Wicker (Heather), Tammy Dahbour (Zach), Travis Bubba Evans, Jessie Evans, and Jeremy Evans; twenty-four great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren.
