Albert Lee Ficklin

Albert Lee Ficklin, 79, a resident of Morton, MS passed away Monday, May 27, 2013 at his residence. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS from 9:00 until 5:00 pm and on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 10:30 until 10:45 am. Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 1, 2013 in the chapel at 11:00 am. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Morton, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Willie Jones. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Ficklin had lived in Morton, MS since the early 1970’s, moving from McNary, Arizona. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Church in Morton, MS where he served as an Usher and Church Janitor and he was a Mason.
He was preceded in death by his parents, R.C. Ficklin, Sr. and Ora Ficklin; wife, Thelma Ficklin; brothers Jack Ficklin, Sr., R.C. Ficklin, Jr. and Excell Ficklin; Sisters Margaret Curry and Alberta Moore.
He is survived by brothers, R.L. Ficklin of Morton, MS; Johnny Ficklin of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister, Evette Jackson of Las Vegas, Nevada; step daughter, Nell Spivey of Forest, MS; Nephews, Eltorry Ficklin of Jackson, MS; Reggie Ficklin of Morton, MS; Charles Brown of Hilo, Hawaii; niece, Malinda Craft of Morton, MS; friend, Freddie Ficklin of Morton, MS and a number of grandchildren and other nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Donald Ficklin, Eltorry Ficklin, Reggie Ficklin, Jack Ficklin, Jr., Shamaria Coleman, and Welton Chambers.
