Richard “Dickey” Fikes

Richard “Dickey” Fikes, 67, a resident of Morton, MS passed away Thursday, October 03, 2013 at Mississippi Care Center in Morton, MS. Visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Sunday, October 06, 2013 from 1:30 until 6:00 pm and on Monday, October 07, 2013 from 8:00 until 9:45 am. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Monday, October 07, 2013 at 10:00 am with burial following in the Leesburg Church of Christ Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Danny Stewart. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Fikes had lived in Leesburg, MS for the past thirty one years, moving from Jackson, MS and he was of the Baptist faith. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt & fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delma and Juanita Fikes. He is survived by three daughters, Ashley Renfroe and husband Chris of Morton; Sonni Bardin and husband Heath of Brandon, MS; Dayna Lawrence of Ludlow, MS; three sons, Del Fikes of Oxford, MS; Lane Fikes of Leesburg, MS; Hughey Fikes of Leesburg, MS; one sister, Judy Hill and husband Jody of Madison, MS; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Renfroe, Blake Renfroe, Bailey Renfroe, Alex Bardin, Austin Fikes, and Brian Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers will be Alex Fikes, Mike Measells, Rory Garcia, and Bentley Renfroe.
