Mrs. Ann C. Floyd, 98, a resident of Lake, MS passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Pioneer Community Hospital in Newton, MS. A visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Friday, July 20, 2012 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm and a graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Hickory Cemetery in Hickory, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Lin Chesney. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton will be in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Floyd was born December 26, 1913 to John Franklin and Maggie Cochran. She had lived in Lake for many years and was of the Methodist faith. She worked as a Beautician before retirement and was loved by all those around her.
Mrs. Floyd was preceded in death by her parents, John Franklin and Maggie Cochran; three husbands, Rob Clark, John Floyd and George Simpson.
Mrs. Floyd is survived by several nieces and nephews including, Raymond Mabry and wife Rose of Lake, MS; Sarah Mabry of Lake, MS; Willow Mae Grace of Cummins, GA; and Lynn Cochran of Midlothian, TX; and a lot of special neighbors.
