Mrs. Jonette Gaddis

February 23, 1930 — July 4, 2016

Mrs. Jonette Jones Gaddis, age 86, passed away on Monday July 4, 2016 at her residence in Forest, MS. Visitation will be held on Wednesday July 6, 2016 from 5:30PM until 7:00PM and again on Thursday July 7, 2016 from 10:00AM until 10:50AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday July 7, 2016 at 11:00AM at the Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Morton, MS. A private burial will follow in the Eastern Cemetery in Forest, MS. Officiating will be Pastor Tim Lott. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Gaddis was a lifelong resident of Forest, MS and was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church. She was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish with her husband, the late Ed Gaddis. She also loved playing bridge and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. At the time of her death, Mrs. Gaddis was the President of King Lumber Company, a family owned company still operated by all of her children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Gaddis in 1990; her parents, Asa and Audie Jones; brothers, Gary Jones and Eddie Jones; and her sister, Sue Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Gay Barnes of Brandon, MS; four sons, Mike Gould of Morton, MS, Mark Gaddis of Forest, MS, Johnny Gaddis of Forest, MS and Jeff Gaddis of Harperville, MS; one sister, Shirley Smith of Lake Bruin, LA; one brother, Ronny Jones of Forest, MS; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives; and her dear friend, whom she shared a residence with for the past twenty-two years, Margaret Crimm.
Pallbearers will be Chase Gaddis, Reed Gaddis, Alan Gaddis, Alan Barnes, Chance Gaddis, Asa Barnes, Jacob McGaugh, and Eli Kanengieser.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to: All Seasons Worship Center Building Fund; P.O. Box 1557 Forest, MS 39074.
