George Thomas Thrash

George Thomas Thrash, age 73, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, at St. Dominics Hospital in Jackson, MS. His visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. His Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 PM in our Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Floyd Steverson will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.                                                                      

George was born in Mississippi on August 25, 1951, to W. Lowell Thrash and Ruby L. James. He was a lifelong resident of Morton, MS. George was a member of Grace Church in Pearl, MS. He loved to watch western movies, fish, loved his family, his church, seeing his daughter and his grandchildren. 

 George was preceded in death by his parents, W. Lowell and Ruby L Thrash his two sisters, Mary Frances Thrash and Rhoda Flores Thrash, his three brothers, Jesse, Eugene and Raford Thrash. He is survived by his wife of twenty-nine years, Melisa Thrash of Morton, MS; his daughter, Angie Sudduth (James) of Morton, MS; his son, Jason Thrash of Morton, MS; his sister, Elizabeth Louise Ladd of Morton, MS; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
