Mrs. Ruby Jewel Gibbons Crapps age 84 a resident of Brandon, MS formerly of the Branch Community in Scott County passed away on Thursday January 1, 2015 at the Brandon Nursing & Rehab Center in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Saturday January 3, 2015 from 5:30 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Sunday January 4, 2015 from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday January 4, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the New Liberty Baptist Church in the Branch Community, Morton, MS with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Paul Smith and Rev. Earl Clark. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Ruby Jewel was a lifelong resident of the Branch Community in Scott County. She was a charter member of the New Liberty Baptist Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Red Hat Society at the Brandon Nursing & Rehab.
Mrs. Ruby Jewel is preceded in death by her husband, Mack Crapps, Jr. in 2000; parents, Raz and Nell Gibbons; one daughter, Maxie Jewel Crapps; one great grandson, Michael Wilcox Lee II. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Nichols and husband Jimmie of Morton, MS., Maxine Smith of Morton, MS., Shelia Rigby and husband Joe of Forest, MS.; one son, Nicky Crapps and wife Alison of Morton, MS.; sister-in-law, Betty Joyce Crapps of Leesburg, MS.; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Jimmie Nichols, Jr., Joey Rigby, Mack Crapps, Trey Nichols, Tyler Rigby, Dusty Smith and Logan Parisi, Mike Lee, Mike Parks, Michael Worrell, J.T. Crapps, Jodie Raz Crapps, Jimmie Nichols, Sr., Joe Rigby, Eddie Marshall Smith, Canden Smith, Gage Crapps, Jax Crapps, Kane Guilbeau, Blayze Guilbeau and Kajun Guilbeau.
