David Earl Gilmore Jr.

Mr. David Earl Gilmore, Jr. age 44, passed away Thursday April 16, 2020 at his residence in Morton, MS. A visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Thursday May 14, 2020 from 12:00PM until 1:00PM with a Funeral Service to follow. Brother Aaron Wood will officiate.

Mr. Gilmore had lived in Morton since the early 90’s after moving from Vicksburg, MS. He was Baptist by faith and attended Strong Tower Church. He loved fishing and cooking, especially BBQ and grilling. He loved spending time with his family and most of all loved the time spent with his children. He is preceded in death by his father, David Gilmore, Sr.; grandparents, Annie Catherine and James Gilmore and his grandfather Luther Thomas. He is survived by his wife, Nancy of Morton,MS; his mother Patsy Gilmore; three children, Jeana Gilmore of Morton, MS, Jacob Gilmore of Morton, MS, Joshua Gilmore of Morton, MS; four sisters; Pam Boykin (Dewayne) of Morton, MS, Debra Creel (Duke) of Morton, MS, Patti Gilmore of Morton, MS, Ruth Burkes of Morton, MS; brother, James Gilmore of Morton, MS and a host of nieces and nephews.
