Mildred Ross Goodman

Mrs. Mildred Ross Goodman, 95, passed away peacefully at Merit Health Rankin on March 25, 2022. Visitation will be Monday, March 28, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton MS. Graveside services will be held at Lodebar United Methodist Cemetery on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at 5:00 PM. Mr. Pat Grover will officiate under the direction of Wolf Funeral Services.
Mildred was a lifelong resident of Rankin County, Mississippi and a former school teacher at Gulde, Crossroads, and East Rankin. Mildred enjoyed life, especially yard work and working in the garden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Goodman Sr.; parents, Sam and Myrtle Ross; brothers, Wallace Ross, Edgar Ross, Hugh Ross and John Ross and sister, Sarah Nell Blackwell. She is survived her children, Gracie Crotwell (Ronald) and Richard Goodman (Noemi); sisters, Betsy Woods (Glenn) of Alabama, Nancy Miller of Harrisville, MS, Jane Loy (Jack) of Alabama, Hassel Johns of Byram, MS, Carrie Smith of Flowood, MS and Charlie Ann McMinn of Alabama; grandchildren, Tony Crotwell (LaDonna), Claudia Bowman (Mike), Krista Goodman, Kevin Goodman; great grandchildren, Maggie Plunkett ( Jacob), Caitlin Bowman, Eric Crotwell, Avery Goodman, Bella Goodman, Byrar Goodman, Trixton Goodman and Bentley Goodman; great-great grandchildren, expectant baby of Maggie and Jacob Plunkett and a host of nieces, nephews and other family.
Pallbearers for the service will be Avery Goodman, Eric Crotwell, Tony Crotwell, Mike Bowman, Jacob Plunkett, Mike Goodman and Kevin Goodman. Honorary pallbearers will be Jonnie Conn and Ronald Crotwell.
