Tammy Goodman age 45 of Lena, MS. passed away on Thursday November 14, 2013. Visitation was held on Saturday November 16, 2013 from 4:30PM until 8:00PM and again on Sunday November 17,2013 from 12:30PM until 1:50PM. Services were held at 2:00PM on Sunday November 17, 2013 at Wolf Funeral Services with burial following in the Oak Grove Church of God Cemetery in Polkville, MS. Officiating was Rev. Randy Jones, Rev. William Jones, and Rev. Robert Gatewood. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Goodman had lived in Lena, MS for the past 23 years moving from Polkville, MS. She was a member of the Lena Baptist Church in Lena, MS. Tammy loved working in her yard and spending time with her family. She worked as a nurse at the Pain Management Clinic in Jackson, MS.
She is preceded in death by her father, Harry McCarty. She is survived by her husband, Steve Goodman of Lena, MS.; her mother, Betty McCarty of Polkville, MS.; two sons, Zach Goodman of Lena, MS.; and Channing Goodman of Lena, MS.; three sisters, Debbie Benton of South Carolina; Annette Burns of Raleigh, MS.; and Sandra Barnes of Morton, MS.; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Jason Jones, Jamie Johnson, Caleb Jones, Todd Mascagni, Ryan Ross, and Chase Waters. Honorary pallbearers were Jerry Keen, Earnest McCarty, Richard Prestage and Frank Odom.
