Cora Mae Goodson (Thrasher )

Mrs. Cora Mae Goodson age 90, passed away Wednesday November 20, 2019 at MS Care Center in Raleigh, MS. A visitation will be held at Christian Life Fellowship in Forest, MS on Friday November 22, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday November 23, 2019 at Christian Life Fellowship in Forest, MS at 1:00 PM with burial to follow at Carr Methodist Church Cemetery in Forest, MS. Brother Carl Booth, Brother William Pitman and Brother Clayborn Huff will officiate.



Mrs. Goodson was a lifelong resident of Forest, MS. She attended Trenton Pentecostal Church in Pulaski, MS. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved to travel and loved to play music and sing.
She is preceded in death by her husbands Willie Ray Goodson and Paul Sanford; great grandson, Zach Baldwin; granddaughter, Jamie Godson; great granddaughter, Meagan. She is survived by her children; Ruby Wedgeworth ( John), Virginia Batte ( Bennie) , Bonita McGriff ( James) , James B Goodson ( Trish), Johnny Goodson ( Wanda), Joyce Beatty ( David) David Goodson (Linda); grandchildren, Tammy Baldwin, Dewayne Wedgeworth, Randy Batte, Wayne Batte, Mitch Jordon, Lacey Goodson, Shea Warren, Michael Goodson, Ashley Goodson, Melissa Jackson, Jason Goodson, Bradley Jordon, Brian Beatty, Lakeshia Beatty; great grandchildren, Josh Wedgeworth, Derek Wedgeworth, Jeremy Batte, Aaron Batte, Haley Batte, Cody Batte, Hannah Warren, Savannah Brooks, Aubrey Goodson, Andrew Goodson, Meagan Goodson; great grandchildren, Sawyer, Bentlee, Braxlee,Brantlee,Brigid, Pasen and Heidi.

Pallbearers will be Mitch Jordan, Wayne Batte, Randy Batte, Dewayne Wedgeworth, Jason Goodson and Michael Goodson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Josh Wedgeworth, Aaron Batte, Jeremy Batte, Derek Wedgeworth and Bradley Jordan.
