Robert "Humpy" Graves

Mr. Robert L. “Humpy” Graves, age 58 a resident of Morton, MS; passed away on Saturday February 22, 2014 at his residence. Visitation will be held on Monday February 24, 2014 from 5:30 PM until 9:00 PM at the Polkville United Pentecostal Church in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday February 25, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Polkville United Pentecostal Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Officiating will be Bro. Baron Price, Bro. Jeremy Price, Bro. Larry Head, Bro. Henry Coleman and Bro. Ken Hickman. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Graves was a resident of the Polkville Community for the past thirty five years and a former resident of Collins, MS. He was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church. He loved helping coach his daughters softball team and fishing. He worked as a manager with Appliance Parts in Jackson, MS for over twenty five years. He was an avid sports fan and loved watching the New Orleans Saints, car shows and loved his family. He was a big supporter of the Raleigh Lady Lions Softball Team.
“Humpy” was preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo & Giesla Graves, and two brothers, Alonzo Graves, Jr., and Sandy Graves. He is survived by his wife, Alethia Graves of Polkville, MS.; three daughters, Victoria Parkman and husband Brandon of Polkville, MS.; Aimee Graves of Polkville, MS.; and Emily Graves of Polkville, MS.; one brother, Bo Graves and wife Pam of Brandon,MS.; one sister, Margaret Rutherford of Collins, MS.; two grandchildren, Lanie Parkman and Logan Parkman, sister-in-law, Debbie Graves of Bassfield, MS.
Pallbearers are Matt Bryant, Courtney Buckelew, Jerry Fields, Ronnie Traxler, Lee Lyle, Shelby Quick and Trey Glaze.
