Ana Rachel Fortenberry Griffin age 75, passed away Tuesday October 29, 2019 at Lakey Memorial Hospital. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Ana was a lifelong resident of Forest, MS. A Baptist by faith, she was a hard worker who loved to read. She loved tending her flowers and loved animals. She is preceded in death by her brother, James Robert Fortenberry and her sister, Shirley Myatt. She is survived by her children, Teddy Ray Bennett of Forest, MS and Joseph Bennett (Leigh Anne) of Forest, MS; sisters, Clara Myers of Houston, TX, Mary Duncan of Forest, MS, Nelda Applewhite of Forest, MS and Linda Carr of Forest, MS; three grandchildren, Christian Coleman Smith, Brittney Bennett and Rachael Bennett, and seven great-grandchildren.
