Jean Grissom

Mrs. Jean Grissom age 72, a resident of Pelahatchie, MS. passed away on Saturday April 19, 2014 at her residence. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 9:00 AM until 9:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Wolf Funeral Services. Officiating will be Rev. Guy Hughes. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Grissom had lived in Pelahatchie, MS. since 2000 formerly moving from Pearl, MS. where she had lived since 1975.She was a member of the Pelahatchie Baptist Church where she was a member of the Ruth Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Grissom is preceded in death by her mother, Lucille Hodges, step-father, Hubert Hodges, daughter, Shannon Lynne Grissom, son, Jesse Lynn Nicely. She is survived by her husband, Doyle Grissom of Pelahatchie, MS.; two daughters, Susan Wolfe of Brandon, MS.; Kimberly Jean Paul of Charlotte, NC.; one son, Jamie Doyle Grissom of Pearl, MS.; uncle, John Cornelison of Pelahatchie, MS.; six grandchildren, Savannah Grissom, Joshua Grissom, Chloe Grissom, Audrey Grace Paul, Samuel Liam Paul, Echo Maria Paul.
Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Cornelison, Johnny Cornelison, Larry Van Cornelison, Butch Cornelison, Jimmy Peoples, Roger Scharmer.
