Marilyn Wooten Guilbeau

Marilyn Wooten Guilbeau, 57, a resident of Morton, MS passed away Wednesday, April 03, 2013 at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. Visitation will be held Friday, April 05, 2013 from 5:30 until 8:00 pm and on Saturday, April 06, 2013 from 9:30 am until 1:45 pm. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 06, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the chapel with burial following in Groverton Presbyterian Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Floyd Steverson, and Rev. Paul Smith. Wolf funeral Services in Morton, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Marilyn had lived in the Branch Community for most of her life and she was a member of Eureka Baptist Church in Sandhill, MS. She enjoyed spending time with her family and fishing. She devoted her entire life to taking care of not only her family, but others in need of personal care.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Mary Bee Wooten. She is survived by her husband, Lester Guilbeau of Morton, MS; one daughter, Tonya Franklin of Morton, MS; one son, Kane Guilbeau (Leann) of Morton, MS; one brother, Billy Wooten and wife Lil of Morton, MS; six grandchildren, Tori, Gabbi, Gage, Ella Grace, Blayze, and Kurtleigh; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be A.J. Wooten, T.J. Wooten, Robbie Wooten, Dan Wooten, Mark Davis, and Danny Davis.
