Thelma Hamilton

Thelma A. Hamilton, 83, a resident of Polkville, MS passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Hillcrest Nursing Center in Magee, MS. Visitation was held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 10:30 am until 1:45 pm. Funeral services were Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the chapel with burial following in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Pearl, MS. Officiating was Bro. Barron Price. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hamilton had lived in Polkville, MS for the past 20 years, moving from Florence, MS and she was a member of First Baptist Church of Polkville, MS.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wallace Amacker and second husband, Burle Hamilton.
She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Chris Dukes, Gregory Robertson, Robert Dukes, Kenneth Cox, and Mike Phippis. Honorary pallbearers were her nephews.
