Johnny L. Hannah, 64, a resident of Brandon passed away Monday, November 22, 2010 at his residence. Visitation was at Wolf Funeral Services on Wednesday 24, 2010 from 10:00 until 11:20 am with graveside services following at 12:00 noon in the Farm Rest Cemetery. Officiating was Rev. Danny McKellar and Rev. Shane Brown. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hannah had lived in Brandon for the past 30 years and he was a Baptist. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to crappie fish and deer hunt and was a former member and director of the Magnolia Crappie Club. He loved his family and family gatherings. He had belonged to the Teamsters Union while working at Yellow Freight for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Hannah, Sr.; brother, Jimmy Wayne Hannah; one daughter, Pamela Gay Hannah.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Hannah, Brandon; mother, Gladys Mae Hannah, Brandon; one son, Brian (Audrey) Hannah, Brandon; four sisters, Barbara Ann Turner, Coldwater; Patricia Jean Holliman, Byhalia; Betty Majors, Brandon; Glenda Shorter, Brandon; four brothers, Bobby Hannah, Brandon; Billy Hannah, Brandon; Lonnie Hannah, Jr., Pelahatchie; Danny Hannah, Braxton; one grandchild, Mercedes Cooper.
Pallbearers were Mitchell Craft, Shane Jolly, Danny Hannah, Chris Kirkland, Michael Dimitroff and Cody Hannah. (www.wolffuneralservices.com)
