Jerry Haralson

Mr. Jerry Franklin Haralson, age 72, passed away on Tuesday May 15, 2018. Visitation will be held Thursday May 17, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. Funeral Services will be held Thursday May 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Lake, MS. Officiating will be Bro. Dale Rogers. Burial will follow at Harperville Cemetery; there will be no graveside services. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Haralson was a lifelong resident of Harperville, MS. He was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church in Walnut Grove, MS. He graduated from Harperville High School in 1963, and then furthered his education at East Central Community College and Ole Miss. After college he began his career with his father in the family owned poultry business, Lady Forest Farms and Forest Packing Co., where he eventually served as Vice President. He was also president of Haralson Ford Co. in Forest, MS. and served as manager of Lady Forest Hatchery in Forest, MS. He served as a Staff Sergeant with the Army National Guard for 6 years with an honorable discharge. He was an avid lover of Harley Davidson Motorcycles and loved collecting antique cars. He was an avid fisherman.

He is preceded in death by his parents, H.H. Haralson, Jr. and Bernice Haralson. He is survived by his wife, Margie Haralson; sisters Zola Marie Haralson and Debbie Haralson of Ridgeland, MS.; brothers Hugh Haralson, III of Forest, MS. and Bill Haralson of Forest, MS.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
