A.C. Harrell, 69, a resident of Pelahatchie, MS passed away Monday, August 12, 2013 at his residence. Visitation was held at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 5:30 until 8:00 pm and a graveside service with burial and military honor was held at Springhill Cemetery in Pelahatchie, MS on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 10:00 am. Officiating was Chaplain Jason Bird. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Harrell had lived in Pelahatchie, MS for the past ten years, moving from Zachary, LA where he lived from 1983-2003 and he was a member of Barefoot Springs Baptist Church. Mr. Harrell had retired as a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist with Entergy at the Riverbend Station in St. Francisville, LA after 25 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert “Buddy” Harrell. He is survived by his wife Deborah Ranow Harrell of Pelahatchie, MS; his mother, Juanita Harrell of Pelahatchie, MS; one son, Eric Joseph Harrell of Zachary, LA; three daughters, Christy Harrell Aucoin of Geismar, LA; Greta Harrell Pelletier of St. Augustine, FL; Angela Harrell Wright of Terry, MS; one step-daughter, Cassie Parker of Brandon, MS; one step-son, Jerimiah Danford of Dickinson, ND; one brother, Spencer Harrell of Flora, MS; one sister, Doris Harrell Pace of Hamburg, AR; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
